TEAM BLUE NEEDS YOU!
Come be a part of the Ocean Explorium—join Team Blue or Blue Corps—our volunteer programs!
Team Blue is designed to offer adults hands-on learning and experience within all aspects of the Explorium. Dive in and learn about marine science, education, earth science and nonprofit operations.
Blue Corps offers opportunities similar to those available to Team Blue, but the programs have been tailored to suit students 14-17 years of age.
Click on the name of the program above or navigate through the drop down menu under the volunteer tab to learn more about each program.
Training sessions are provided upon acceptance to the volunteer program, and we ask for a minimum six-month commitment. We are flexible and offer university community-service rotations as well as short-term obligations.
The Ocean Explorium Is Seeking Education Volunteers
The Ocean Explorium is seeking education volunteers to assist with our education programs. Volunteering with our education department offers a unique and exciting opportunity for anyone interested in marine science or education. Candidates should be reliable, personable, enthusiastic, and should be comfortable engaging our guests. Some marine science experience is required.
For inquiries regarding community, corporate or university volunteer programs, please contact Andrew Rocha, Volunteer Coordinator at arocha@oceanexplorium.org
Volunteer forms are available at the admissions desk and online here.
