Volunteer Spotlight: Judy Giusti



Judy Giusti doubles as a Team Blue Member and an Educator.  At any given time, you can find her sporting an Educator's shirt while teaching and her beloved Team Blue shirt while volunteering.  She holds a wealth of scientific and area knowledge and also functions as the Corresponding Secretary for our Volunteer Council.  Judy has been a valuable member of our volunteer staff for 8 years.
 
Judy and her husband have been married 39 years and are area residents.  Judy worked as an 5th & 6th grade science teacher in the New Bedford School System for 35 years.  She holds advanced degrees from UMASS Dartmouth and Southeastern Massachusetts University.  Rarely still, she is always working on something new and gaining experience both at the OE and elsewhere.  She volunteers for the Schooner Ernestina and the New Bedford Whaling Museum and is an active member of many Teacher's Associations and other community and environmental organizations.
