Student Field Trip Costs and Reservations
School Year field trips are available at either a full or reduced rate, depending on the location of the participating school.
Reduced Field Trip Rate Eligibility
Field trips are available a reduced rate* for schools in SouthCoast
Field Trip Costs
A field trip to the Ocean Explorium includes free admission to the Ocean Explorium exhibit space. Please note, there is a $100 minimum for any field trip, chaperones are free of charge.
Regular Costs
$10 per student
Reduced Costs
$5 per student
Deposit
A $50 deposit is required to hold all field trips. The deposit will be applied to the total cost of your field trip. If the field trip is cancelled with less than 7 days notice, the deposit is non-refundable.
Bag Lunch Fee
$30—For classes that would like to bring their own lunch to the Explorium, a fee will be charged for cleaning, set up, and break down of tables.
