Ocean Explorium partners with Macy's for 'Shop for a Cause'

NEW BEDFORD, MA (July 11, 2011) — The Ocean Explorium is teaming up with Macy's for the 'Shop for a Cause' fundraising Event.  Since 2006, Macy's 'Shop for a Cause' campaign has partnered with non-profit organizations nationwide to raise more than $38 million for their ongoing efforts.

Simply by buying a Macy's 'Shop for a Cause' Shopping Pass during their visit, Ocean Explorium guests will be supporting education and outreach programs.  On Saturday, August 27, Shopping Pass holders can save 25% on regular, sale and clearance items, and 10% on electrics, electronics and furnishings at every Macy's store and online at macys.com.  In addition, most brands usually excluded from sales promotions are eligible for special savings.  Pass holders also have an opportunity to enter to win a $500 Macy's Gift Card while shopping.
